Take some time to review the sections below to see what resonates for you before reaching out.

My Areas of Strength in Coaching

  • Creating and allowing space for embracing joy, play, and desire as a Highly Sensitive Person.

  • Shifting from a perspective of perfectionism to one of practice, allowing for integrity and alignment to be cultivated.

  • Developing and maintaining a positive relationship of love and awe with your body.

  • Listening to our body as an extension of and in collaboration with our brain to tap into the wisdom stored there.

  • Tapping into the importance of nature and self-care as foundations for healing and support.

  • Navigating relationships with others.

  • Exploration and access to clarity around intuitive knowing (working through feelings of “I don’t know what I want/feel/enjoy”).

  • Cultivating self-trust, particularly during periods of change, including but not limited to:

~Becoming a parent and navigating parenting as a Highly Sensitive Person.

~Shifting into professional alignment like leaving a career or starting a new one.

What Does Being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) Mean?

A Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) is part of a subset of the population who are high in a personality trait called sensory-processing sensitivity (SPS), not to be confused with sensory-processing disorder. High sensitivity is a normal innate trait that is found in 15 to 20 percent of the population, according to Dr. Elaine Aron, a pioneer in studying high sensitivity.

HSP’s process and feel the subtleties of internal and external stimuli more intensely, whether this be physical, emotional, environmental, or social. This can often create a sense of overwhelm. Highly sensitive people also tend to have deep and complex inner lives.

If you’d like, I recommend you take Dr. Elaine Aron’s High Sensitivity Self-Test, an empirically-based quiz.

About You

The people I can best support are those I can help based on my own lived experiences. These people tend to:

  • Identify as women,

  • Have a sense of being self-aware and highly sensitive (HSP),

  • Feel misalignment between where their energy is currently directed (what’s draining) and where they’d like to put their energy (what’s fulfilling),

  • Desire support and nurturing to fully claim their power and create boundaries as a highly sensitive person,

  • Find that play and joy are not consistently accessible to them,

  • Let perfectionism get in their way,

  • Have a growing sense that they need something different but don’t know what that looks like yet, and/or

  • Find themselves navigating either self-initiated or externally-initiated (forced) change.

What Does Coaching Look Like?

Creating change requires sustained effort, and over time it can feel, quite frankly, exhausting. It can be easy to fall back into old habits, even when they no longer serve us. Coaching is an aligned partnership between me (Coach) and you (Client) to design and provide that sustained support for your desired shift.

The desire for change alone is not always enough, especially for big, life-altering changes. As humans, we can feel a desire to do something even as we feel stuck and exhausted by the prospect of doing it.

Or worse, our inner critic or “fear voice” can consume our conscience and steer us away from our desire, even if it is our true path. This creates an internal environment of paralysis, and we lose trust in ourselves.

COACHING IS:

EXPLORATORY

I’m inquisitive! I will ask you many questions and give you questions you may want to ask yourself.

FOCUSED

When an enormous change is on the horizon, it can be challenging to see how to approach it through the emotions, fear, and uncertainty the change can bring up within us. I help us hold the big picture while we dive into the details to connect with your inner truths.

ALIVE

I am fully present with you and only you in every session. I am invested in your progress hand-in-hand and heart-to-heart with you.

Reflective

I hold space for reflection and will encourage it during our sessions. Because much of what you need is already within you, sometimes all you need is for someone to relay what you’re saying or doing back to you to feel answers.

Forwarding action

I help keep you accountable, without judgment, for what you choose to do to better work through change and expansion.

I offer all first-time clients an introductory consultation call. This call is cost-free and pressure-free and is an excellent time for us to get the information we need to determine if working together is the right fit.
